Biography:

    Derek Stephens born and raised in Las Vegas, NV did not start racing motocross until the age of thirteen when his dad bought him his first 80. With his first victory soon after being in the 85 beginner class in Mesique, NV. Derek progressing fast soon passed all of his competition up and moved up to a bigger bike. Soon competing against a lot of the top amateur riders in Texas and Oklahoma at Oak Hill, Lake Whitney, And Ponca City amateur nations in the intermediate class.   Then only a few short years later moving up to the Pro class.  2009 being his second year racing in the pro class. Since the beginning of October he has been attending the Supercross academy in Palm Springs, California and plans on racing the 2010 AMA West Coast lites supercross series. He is also planning on racing the AMA 2010 Outdoor nationals.
